H. P. Gerber Building

Built in 1905 at a cost of $15,000, this building was first known as the Industrial Technology Building. It was named the H. P. Gerber Industrial Technology Building during dedication ceremonies on May 2, 1991. It honors Henry Philip Gerber, a 1928 graduate of Northern who taught at his alma mater from 1935 until his retirement in 1956. The facility underwent renovations in 2000 and currently houses offices and classrooms for the School of Education, which was formerly housed in Mewaldt-Jensen.
