The Wolves split with the Eagles as they defeated them in the first game by a score of 11-9 in 9 innings and they lost to them 0-12 in the second game to bring their overall record to 5-25.

In game one, the Wolves pounded out 19 hits and were led by Owen Olson (Denver, Col.) who went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI and Chad Hoffman (Staples, Minn.) who was 3-for-4 at the plate with 4 RBI. The Wolves scored six runs in the 4th inning to take a 7-2 lead, but UMC clawed back to finally tie the score at 9-9 in the bottom of the 7th inning. In the 9th inning Ryan Wheatley (McCammon, Idaho) doubled to lead off and Eric Borge (Mellette, S.D.) eventually walked. After a sacrifice by Adam Chapman (Rapid City, S.D.) Hoffman stepped up to the plate and delivered the game-winning hit knocking in both Wheatley and Borge. Andrew Lyke (Lakeville, Minn.) ended up getting the win for NSU.

In game two NSU struggled at the plate and were only able to muster five hits in the loss. Borge and Brad Thorstad (Morris, Minn.) were both 1-for-2 at the plate with each getting a double.
