Northern State dropped a twinbill to Concordia-St. Paul 5-1 and 5-0 Friday at Aberdeen's Fossum Field.
CSP's pitching and costly NSU errors did most of the damage. The Golden
Bears held NSU to 11 hits on the day, while the
Wolves committed six total errors. CSP improved to 8-18 overall and
2-8 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with
the wins, while NSU dropped to 7-29 overall and 1-9 in the league.
NSU hopes to finish its home season Saturday with a twinbill against
NSIC power Winona State, scheduled to begin at noon.
The forecast calls for rain.
