Wolves Split With the Golden Bears of St. Paul ABERDEEN SD - The Wolves split a two game double header with the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears Sat. April 24th at Fossum Field winning the first game 2-1 and falling to the Bears in game two 14-0 Wes Fisbeck gave the wolves the lead in the fourth inning after singling to left scoring Kieffer and Burns. Fisbeck finished the day three for three with two RBI's. Matt Paulson (3-5) picked up the win allowing only 3 hits on the day. Paulson struck out four of the 25 men he faced. In game two the wolves were blown out giving up four runs in the third inning and nine in the fifth. The wolves finished game two with just six hits to the Golden Bears 17. The Wolves are now 13-20 overall and 7-11 in the NSIC. They host Concordia St. Paul Sunday April 25th at Fossum Field. Concordia St. Paul is now 13-18 overall and 10-10 in the NSIC. |
