Aberdeen, S.D. - The Wolves fell in game one 8-3 after allowing four runs in both the second and third inning. Matt Reich (1-3) went five innings for the Wolves giving up eight runs (five earned) off of 12 hits while striking out three. Tom Keiser pitched the final two innings giving up only two hits.
The Wolves offense was led by Paul Gerrish who went 4-for-4 with an RBI. Adam Kampsen was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Kampsen hit a towering solo homer in the bottom of the fifth. Christian Tavzrez was the only other Wolf with a multiple hit game as he went 2-for-4 in the game.
In game two the Wolves fell 6-0 after the Warriors scored two unearned runs in the first, a run in the fifth and three in the sixth. The Wolves managed only four hits in the game.
Paul Gerrish (1-5) went all seven innings for the Wolves giving up six runs (three earned) on nine hits while striking out and walking four of the 35 batters he faced.
