Speidel, Bouwens Win Events

ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Northern State swim team received top place finishes from Renee Speidel and Kristen Bouwens in a November 9 meet against Concordia, Moorhead. Speidel took first place in the 200-yard IM and 100-yard Backstroke while Bouwens took first in the 100 Breaststroke.
"The meet was a success for us in that the majority of our athletes improved from the first meet," said NSU head coach Elyce Kastigar. The Cobbers ultimately took a 145-54 decision in the meet.
