A year
after current national coaching icon Pat Summitt served
as the keynote speaker at the 2001 Don Meyer Coaching Academy,
two more coaching legends will grace the floor of the Barnett
Center for next year's academy.
John
Wooden, whose name is synonymous with basketball, will be
the keynote speaker at the 2002 Don Meyer Coaching Academy,
while former Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett will be the featured
clinician.
Meyer,
the head coach of NSU's men's basketball team, moved his
nationally renowned coaching academy to Aberdeen this year.

"I think
it's great to have probably the greatest coach of the century
coming to give the keynote address," Meyer said. "And every
coach feels that Dick Bennett is the ultimate coaches' coach.
We couldn't be happier to have them highlight the academy
and follow up what Pat Summitt did last year."
The
academy is scheduled for June 6-8 in NSU's Barnett Center.
For
more information on attending the academy, contact NSU's
basketball offices at 605-626-7730 or 605-626-2230.
