Wolves Blanked by Concordia St. Paul

St. PAUL, Minn. - The Wolves dropped a pair of games to Concordia St. Paul as they fell 4-0 and 11-0. The Wolves bats were still on East break as they combined for only two hits in both games.

Christie Schulte (3-7) pitched all six innings for the Wolves, giving up four runs on nine hits. She struck out two and walked five of the 32 batters she faced.

The Wolves lone hit came from Christie Bronte in the second inning and was the only Wolf to reach base.

Game 1 Stats

Concordia opened up the bottom of the first inning in game two with seven runs off eight hits to take a early, commanding lead.

The Wolves managed only one hit in the game, that coming from Casey Vieth in the fourth inning. The Wolves had three errors in game two as they fell 11-0 in five innings.

The Wolves are not 3-21 overall and 2-8 in the NSIC. Concordia St. Paul improved to 20-13 overall and 7-3 in the NSIC.
