SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Northern State was swept by Augustana College 7-0 and 15-2 with the second game going only five innings. The Wolves fall 8-20 overall on the season.

The Wolves had only four hits in game one and committed three errors. Lisa Koehler pitched all six innings for the Wolves giving up six earned runs on 11 hits.

Game two saw the Wolves score a run in each of the first two innings, but the Vikings scored eight of their own to open a 8-2 lead. The Vikings continued to pour on the runs as they amassed seven more in the bottom of the fourth end the game after five innings at 15-2.

A Caitlyn Hodges double in the first scored Natalie Kieff, while Jenna Drey doubled and eventually scored for the Wolves second run.

Audrey Decker pitched four innings for the Wolves giving up 14 earned runs on 18 hits.

The Wolves travel to Moorhead, Minn. this weekend for the NSIC Crossover.
