Emily HowlettEmily Howlett , a catcher from Eagan, MN, joins the Wolves after a stellar five-year career at Eagan High School. She is planning to major in education (P.E.) and minor in agriculture at Northern State.

Howlett was a five-year starter at Eagan, a Class AAA High School and a member of the Lakes Conference. She started four years at catcher, where she called nearly all the pitchers over the past three seasons. Her senior year she hit .447, which led the conference and was the third highest single season batting average in school history. She had 38 hits, six triples, four doubles, 14 RBI’s and 21 runs scored as the leadoff hitter.

In 102 varsity games, Howlett holds the school record for most career hits, highest career batting average (.376), and most career runs scored. She was named to the all-conference team three times, and to the Section 6AAA and all-state honorable mention teams twice. Her team voted her MVP twice, and offensive player of the year three times. Her senior year she was named all-state (top twenty players in the state) and academic all-state.

Laura Donley, a third basemen from Shakopee, MN was all-conference honorable mention her senior year. Voted team MVP, Donley batted .253 with three doubles and 13 RBIs. Her on base percentage was .410 with four stolen bases. In the field she had a .806 field percentage at the hot corner.

Laura is the daughter of Steve and Cheryl Donley. She is undecided in a major at Northern State.

Natalie KieffNatalie Kieff, a native of Norfolk, NE, will play in the outfielder for the Wolves. She earned four varsity letters playing for the Class “A” Norfolk High School Panthers. As a freshman she helped the Panthers playing multiple positions. Beginning her sophomore season she settled in the outfield. As a junior, Natalie was also a first team all-conference selection and earned academic all-conference as a junior and senior.

Natalie is the daughter of Ed and Mary Kieff. She is undecided in her major but has interests in criminal justice, exercise science and coaching.

Kayte KleskKayte Klesk, a native of Big Lake, MN will join the Wolves as a pitcher. At Big Lake High School, Klesk was a three-time all-conference and four-time all-section player. She was named all-state her sophomore and junior year and was named to the all-star team her senior year. For her career Klesk was 66-17 with a .46 ERA, while racking up 972 strikeouts in her career.

Kayte is the daughter of Joe and Mary Klesk. She is undecided in a major at Northern State.

Jessica ParkerJessica Parker will join the Wolves as a pitcher/first baseman for next spring. Her Bemidji High School team started the season with a 20-0 record and were ranked 6 th in the state of Minnesota during her senior season. Parker’s batting average during her senior season was .316 and her ERA is an astonishing 0.36. Parker also plans to play basketball for the Wolves.

Steph Peterson will join the Wolves after three consecutive seasons being named to the all-conference team. The Big Lake, MN native was also named academic all-conference in 2003 and 2004 and was academic all-state in 2004. Peterson will play in the outfield for the Wolves.

Steph is the daughter of Craig and Diane Peterson. She is undecided in a major at Northern State.
