Jenna Drey Named to NSIC Softball All-Tournament Team

Jenna DreyCrookston, Minn. - Northern State junior centerfielder Jenna Drey (Burke, S.D.) was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Tournament for her performance in Crookston, Minn. over the weekend. The all-tournament team consisted of 11 players, one for each position including a designated player and two pitchers.

Drey was selected to the all-tournament team for her stellar defensive play in centerfield over the weekend. Drey recorded six put-outs from her centerfield position in the three games. Although the Wolves lost in the first round 8-0 to third seeded Winona State, the seventh seeded Wolves ended the sixth seeded Bemidji State season in the second round win a 2-1 win. The Wolves eventually lost on day two of the tournament to top seeded SW Minnesota State 9-0 in five innings. Offensively, Drey did double in the Winona State game.
