Jamestown College defeated Northern State 1-0 Tuesday at the NSU Soccer Field in Aberdeen. Jamestown scored early in the first half, but after that the teams played in a dead heat. Jamestown ended the day with 10 shots on goal, NSU had nine. Jamestown's goalie had five saves, while NSU's senior goalie Kiersten Thompson (Watertown, S.D.) tallied four.

The win marked Jamestown's second one-goal victory over Northern this season.

NSU (8-8 overall) will finish the season at Wayne State (Neb.) this Thursday. The match is scheduled to start at noon. The Wildcats and Wolves have played once before this season, with NSU coming out on top 1-0 in the NSU Invitational Oct. 17.
