WOLVES SHUT OUT IN SECOND STRAIGHT CONTEST

Aberdeen, S.D. - The NSU offense was shut down for the second straight day as Montana State-Billings stopped the Wolves 1-0 in Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets held a slim 13-11 advantage on shots but the score advantage came in the 44th minute when Stephanie Clark scored the game's lone goal on a header off of a corner kick from Ally Taylor.

Northern had its chances to score but saw a penalty kick sail wide left and had another shot bounce off the frame and finished without a goal for the third time in its last four games.

Northern State (8-3-2) will jump back into NSIC action next weekend when they travel to face Concordia-St. Paul and Winona State.
