SHUT OUT IN SECOND STRAIGHT CONTEST
Aberdeen,
S.D. - The NSU offense was shut down for the second straight
day as Montana State-Billings stopped the Wolves 1-0 in
Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon.
The
Yellow Jackets held a slim 13-11 advantage on shots but
the score advantage came in the 44th minute when Stephanie
Clark scored the game's lone goal on a header off of a corner
kick from Ally Taylor.
Northern
had its chances to score but saw a penalty kick sail wide
left and had another shot bounce off the frame and finished
without a goal for the third time in its last four games.
Northern
State (8-3-2) will jump back into NSIC action next weekend
when they travel to face Concordia-St. Paul and Winona State.
