Head Coach Steve Kehm
Enters Tenth Season in 2007
108-61-12 Overall Record

Steve Kehm enters his tenth season as head coach of the Northern State soccer team, accumulating a winning record of 108-61-12. He led the 2006 squad to a second place NSIC regular season finish, coming one season after the Wolves made an appearance in the NSIC Tournament Championship game in 2005, where they lost in a shootout to regular season champion Winona State. In 2004 Kehm led the Wolves to a tie for second place in the NSIC posting a 5-2 record.

Kehm is the Director of Coaching for the Northern Blast club soccer program. He is also a member of the college soccer academy camp staff and holds several national coaching licenses and endorsements

NSU’s steady influx of new players do not arrive on campus just to fill uniforms. NSU’s soccer program has already produced 32 All-Conference performers, as well as eight Adidas All-Region players and two NSIC MVPs. The diversity of players on the team is amazing as well, as Kehm has brought in players from 12 different states and four players from our neighbor to the north. Kehm also keeps his local roots as he has five players from South Dakota, including three from Aberdeen.

In addition to their prowess on the field, the Wolves also excel in the classroom; last year marked the seventh consecutive year that Wolves have been honored with the Adidas/NSCAA team academic award. The Wolves have also produced two Academic All-Americans and NSU’s team GPA consistently ranks among the best in the nation.
