Northern State placed seventh at the Dakota Duals in Brookings Sunday. Teams in the event were: South Dakota State Blue, South Dakota State Yellow, Augustana, Ridgewater, Minnesota-West, Nebraska-Kearney, Huron and NSU.

The Wolves finished 1-3 in their duals, winning against SDSU Yellow in the final round (30-20) and losing to SDSU Blue (46-0), Augustana (29-15) and Minnesota West (34-18). Sophomore heavyweight Dale Daugerty (Huron, S.D.) and senior 165-pounder Lance Opitz (Webster, S.D.) both won matches against Minnesota West by technical fall. Freshman Nick Nihill (Buhl, Idaho) won a decision against Augustana.

NSU travels to Bismarck, N.D. to take on the University of Mary in a dual Wednesday, Dec. 9. Action is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
