#8 Peacocks Shutout Wolves In NSIC Dual

FAYETTE, Iowa - The Upper Iowa wrestling team (4-0), armed with three ranked athletes and ranked 8th in the nation as a team, kept Northern State (1-6) off the scorecard in Thursday night's dual in Fayette. The Peacocks took the Wolves in a 45-0 decision, tallying three pins and a technical fall on the night.

#6 Chas Welch (14-1, 3-1 dual) suffered his first loss of the season when #5 Tyler Mumbulo took the 4-0 lead in the 125 pound class. NSU's Dave Schiley (141) went into double overtime with UIU's John Gamble, but fell 5-4 in the sudden victory period.
