ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Northern State Wolves could only get one win on the night as they got defeated by the #14 Augustana Vikings 34-4. The Wolves only win on the night came from Phillip Downs as he defeated Jarred McCarthy 18-6 for a major decision.

The Wolves had some close matches with the Vikings but were unable to put any of them away. The Wolves had four matches that were within three points or less. Corbin Surat lost to Adam Schlee 3-6 in the 133 pound match, Dave Schiley lost to Mike Long 5-6 in the 141lb match up, Cale Cornemann lost to Beau Severtsen 4-5 in the 184lb match and Jared Little lost to Ray O'Connor 1-3 in the heavyweight match.

The Wolves will be in action next when they face off against the Concordia, Moorhead Cobber’s on February 6th at 7:00 pm in Wachs Arena. Results
