Jason was in wrestling, tennis, cross country, track, and baseball in high school. Earning captain honors for his efforts in cross country. He also set the school record for pins during his senior season with 31 on his way to a NEC championship honor. While at NSU Jason was named NSIC rookie of the year & NSU rookie of the year honors.
