2005-2006: Redshirted with a 5-1 record at opens

2004-2005: Wrestled at 125 lb. weight class. Finished season with a 15-7 record. Qualified for NCAA National Tournament with a 4 th place Regional finish. Opened season with a 3 rd place finish at SDSU Open. Had 2 nd place finishes at the Dakota Wesleyan Open and the St. Cloud Invite.

High School : Chas Welch was a three time all-conference selection and three-time State A place winner at Rapid City Stevens High School...runner-up in 2003...fourth in 2002... fifth place finish in 2001... four time member of the academic all-conference team and was academic all-state in 2003... also competed in cross country.
