2006-07: Wrestled off and on for the Wolves throughout the year due to injury ... posted an overall record of 20-5 on the year, including a 5-1 mark in duals ... was ranked nationally throughout much of the season, reaching as high as a #5 ranking at the 125-lb class ... was named NSIC Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 21 ... won both the SDSU and Dakota Wesleyan Opens ... made the cut for NCAA DII Nationals for the second time.

2005-06: Redshirted with a 5-1 record at opens

2004-05: Wrestled at 125 lb. weight class. Finished season with a 15-7 record. Qualified for NCAA National Tournament with a 4th place Regional finish. Opened season with a 3rd place finish at SDSU Open. Had 2 nd place finishes at the Dakota Wesleyan Open and the St. Cloud Invite.

High School : Chas Welch was a three time all-conference selection and three-time State A place winner at Rapid City Stevens High School...runner-up in 2003...fourth in 2002... fifth place finish in 2001... four time member of the academic all-conference team and was academic all-state in 2003... also competed in cross country.
