ELRN 720: EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN E-LEARNING

This course will focus on technological resources leading to new learning models that combine physical and virtual learning spaces and techniques. The following topics will be discussed: overview of current technologies, technologies inducing new methods, methods inducing new technologies, development of collaborative learning networks. Examples of emerging technologies and their possible impact on the future of e-learning will be reviewed. Students will provide suggestions for future directions in the E-learning Center. Prerequisites: ELRN 510 or ELRN 530. 1 credit
