NSU Trumpet Group Dominant 7 to Perform on South Dakota Public Television

(ABERDEEN, SD) Northern State University President, Patrick Schloss, is pleased to announce that the NSU Trumpet Group Dominant 7 will be taping a live upcoming performance in Aberdeen that will air this summer on South Dakota Public Television.
“This performance will allow us to share on a much larger stage the exceptional quality of our fine arts program and our talented students at NSU,” said Schloss. “We hope this is the first of many future opportunities to partner with South Dakota Public Broadcasting.”
Crews from South Dakota Public Television will tape a live performance of Dominant 7 on the evening of Fri, May 2, at the Johnson Fine Arts Center. The taping is free and open to the public. The exact time of the performance is still being determined and will be announced in early April.
Dominant 7 is a trumpet and rhythm group under the direction of
Dr. Grant Manhart. The group is comprised of, on average, 7 trumpets,
rhythm and bass.
