Head Start by college art students.Each student develops a study of
a creature and collaborates with the rest of the class in designing a common
jungle/forest and sky background in an exploration of composition,color,and
individual style.On-going reflection and ending celebration with children
and staff of the facilities deepens the learning enviornment is enhanced
for children and staff alike,as well as elderly residences in a shared
facility at Bethesda Home |

Jefferson Township School (Radcliff Heights School)
Description:
The In-School Alternative Mentoring Tutorial Program provides mentoring
and tutorial support opportunities to At-Risk students either in-school
or after school. Students are serving as peer tutors and members
of the Advisory Board. Assistance is in the areas of: Language Arts/Reading,
Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, Computers, and Mentoring (self-esteem).
The Administration, School Board, Trustee members, parents and community
are vital.
