Graham Hall

Built in 1903 at a cost of $35,000 and dedicated in 1904, Graham Hall honors Lydia A. Graham, who joined the faculty of the Northern Normal and Industrial School in 1902. Graham, who served the students at Northern for twenty-two years, supervised the public school music, chorus, sight-singing classes and taught piano. Graham Hall, which had been a woman's residence hall, was named in her honor in 1917. Today, Graham Hall houses university relations, the South Dakota International Business Institute, student organizational offices and dining rooms operated by Aramark, NSU's contracted food service provider.
