A co-ed residence hall, Jerde Hall can house 367 students. The building is named for Dr. Walter Jerde, professor and dean of education, who served the NSU campus from 1947 until his retirement in 1966.

The free laundry facilities are located in the basement, as is a lounge and game room with pool tables and a TV.  There are lounges on every floor, some of which include kitchens.  The main lobby is found on first floor.  This is also the location of a study room, a foosball table, the hall office, and the hall director's apartment.  The computer lab, connected to the campus network, includes a laser jet printer and is also found on first floor. Jerde is a smoke free environment.

The NSU Soccer Complex and Tennis Courts are located to the East of the building.  Jerde is close to the Barnett Center (NSU's fitness and sports complex) and the Johnson Fine Arts Center.

All rooms are wired for high speed internet access, have fee-for-service cable TV access and a telephone jack (extra fees apply).
