NSU Collegiate Choir and Chamber Singers Present Concert

(Aberdeen, S.D.) The Northern State University Department of Music is pleased to present the Collegiate Choir and Chamber Singers Annual Spring Concert on Sun, Apr 25, at 3 p.m. on the main stage of the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center Theater. Both ensembles are under the direction of Dr. Timothy Woods, director of choral activities at NSU. The concert will be performed by 110 NSU students who make up the two ensembles. 

This year’s concert will feature the works of American composers, Randall Thompson, Samuel Barber, Moses Hogan, Eric Whitacre, and Northern State University’s own Dr. Allan Jacobson. There will also be a performance of composer Gerald Finzi’s “Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice,” with the assistance of accompanist Arliss Alberts.
