Jennifer Lucero: Graduated 2010 - Sociology Degree with emphases in Human Services and Gerontology:
"I have learned about the dynamic changes in the longevity of people today. This impacts many areas of our society. Many service areas will be impacted with the growing older population. I have learned to appreciate that intergenerational relationships are an important part of successful aging. There are many reciprocal benefits to these relationships. Mentors have been proven to have a large impact on young individuals’ choices. Mentors are people with experience; Older Adults are full of life experience and ought to be looked to for these roles".
