PROGRAM AND DEGREES

The Department of Mathematics offers courses that lead to BS and BSED degrees. The mathematics major prepares students for careers in education, engineering, industry, business, and computer science as well as for graduate studies in mathematics or closely related fields. To ensure a broad education, students majoring in mathematics should select supporting courses from computer science and from natural sciences. The requirements for each degree are
