The Northern State University School of Education is an NCATE-accredited professional school providing preparation in diverse areas of education. The school offers undergraduate programs specializing in Elementary and Secondary Education, Health and Physical Education, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling Education and Special Education.

The Graduate program in the School of Education offers a Master of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Education in E-learning, or a Master of Science in Education, Teaching and Learning with emphasis in the following areas:
