New Student Orientation

New student orientation is designed to help you make a successful transition to college life. You will meet with administrators, faculty and staff, and learn more about the diverse experiences awaiting you at Northern State.

During orientation you will have the opportunity to settle into your room in the residence hall, begin the process of developing new friendships and learn about the programs and services the University has to offer. You will be assigned to a small group led by a Wolf Pack Orientation Leader, a trained paraprofessional, who is here to help you adjust to your new surroundings.

You are encouraged to participate in each program session to maximize your orientation experience.  This is your opportunity to ask questions and prepare yourself for the adventure that lies ahead. Welcome to Northern!
