What is the September Slam?

The September Slam is the best way for you to become involved and meet new people during your first month of school.  At the beginning of Orientation, you will receive a large September Slam poster complete with all NSU events and activities throughout the month.  The September Slam works like a calendar; each day of the month of September there will be a variety of entertaining, educational, and recreational activities going on on Northern's campus or in Aberdeen.  Cool prizes (we're talking IPODS, Digital Cameras, DVD's, gift certificates, etc...no bumper stickers or keychains here!) will be awarded at certain "random" events throughout the month.  How will you know when and where prizes will be awarded?  Hmmmm.....That is why you need to go to the events and activities listed on the September Slam!  The more events you attend, the better chance for prizes!  You can also increase your eligibility for the Grand Prize!
