Greenhouse Construction
Under construction during summer 2015, NSU's greenhouse will allow for hands-on, field-based work for NSU biology and biotechnology students.
 
The $750,000 facility, on the southeast corner of the Mewaldt-Jensen Building, is expected to be complete by fall.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Spafford Hall Art Facilities Update
$650,000 worth of renovations for Spafford Hall sculpture and printmaking areas are set to be complete by Aug. 21, 2015. Fall art classes will utilize the updated facilities. Updates include safety and health improvements.

Dacotah Hall Wellness Center Renovation
Dedicated to providing additional fitness resources for Northern students, the entire first floor of the Dacotah Hall Wellness Center will receive new flooring and paint. Other new features will include an improved volleyball system and water bottle-filling fountains. It's expected to be complete early summer 2015.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Johnson Fine Arts Center Renovation

Krikac Auditorium Remodel/Krikac Administration Building & Spafford Hall Window Replacement Project

This beautiful historic space was renovated to replace flooring and chairs. Stained-glass windows were restored in the auditorium, which will provide an ideal space for classes and performances.

 

Window replacement is complete in the Krikac Administration Building and adjoining Spafford Hall. Central air conditioning has been added. 

 

The cost of the projects totaled $1.5 million.
