A co-ed residence hall with one floor designated as non-smoking, Jerde Hall was built in 1968 for $1,547,586 and dedicated on April 23, 1969. Jerde Hall can house 375 students and is complete with its own dining hall and kitchen. The building is named for Dr. Walter Jerde, professor and dean of education, who served the NSU campus from 1947 until his retirement in 1966.
