This building honors Isaac Lincoln, who teamed up with Father Robert Haire to successfully lobby for a public institution of higher learning in Aberdeen. Built in 1918 at a cost of $154,000, Lincoln Hall first served as a women's residence hall. At that time, Lincoln Hall helped alleviate student housing problems, but the men still boarded off campus. Today, Lincoln Hall houses the campus print shop, offices for faculty aligned with the School of Business and the Isaac Lincoln Gallery.
