International Programs
The world is yours to discover, and Northern’s International Office is there to help you in your journey. The International Office seeks to promote international awareness, sensitivity to diversity and opportunities to engage the community and campus in cultural activities.

Northern’s increasing number of international students come from all over the world. The International Office assists these students with all aspects of Northern life, including:
  • Academic and personal success;
  • Acculturation;
  • Immigration support, and
  • Student life programming
Northern offers an Academic English Program for students who do not speak English as their first language. Find out more on the AEP Page.
The International Office also encourages Northern students to participate in cultural experiences by providing a variety of study and travel abroad opportunities. Students can explore countries such as France, Germany, Korea, Chile and China.
