Bio Information:
An educator for more than 30 years, I joined the NSU E-Learning faculty in 2003. I moved here from Grand Forks, N.D., where I taught all levels of Spanish. I also spent time in Bismarck teaching English as a Second Language to refugee children, and before that, I started my teaching career in Minot, ND. Raised in Fargo, it seemed it was time for me to get to know a bit about the “other Dakota.”
My travels to the Spanish-speaking world, both with my family and with students, include Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.
I love learning about other cultures!
My husband and I have two grown children and one granddaughter. Besides traveling, I love to cook, read and be at our lake home in Minnesota, which is where we plan to retire.
