Have a research project you are working on? Would you like to improve your research skills or simply gain the experience of presenting research?

The NSU Undergraduate Research Forum is your opportunity to participate in the research process by presenting your research one of two ways:

1) An oral presentation, or

2) A poster of your research

The application process is posted to this website each September. All participants are eligible for the Library Research Award, which includes winners for the best poster and oral presentation. Because this is a Library Research award, use of library resources is required. Projects will be evaluated for overall quality, clarity and research depth. Please see the links below for specific instructions for the oral presentations or poster sessions and details on the research summary submission.

If you'd like to take part in the forum and would like assistance with library resources, the librarians are happy to provide individual research consultation sessions.

To make an appointment, please email librarians Jonna Underwood at jonna.underwood@northern.edu or Kristin Echtenkamp at kristin.echtenkamp@northern.edu, or call 605-626-3018.

For questions, contact Dr. Alyssa Kiesow, MJ212, amkiesow@northern.edu or Jonna Underwood, LIB126, jonna.underwood@northern.edu.
