VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a direct and secure way to connect to Northern State University's campus network remotely.
VPN allows your computer to access resources on campus that are blocked from off-campus networks and Internet by firewalls. Authorized users will be able to access the file server (H & F drives) and their office computers; library databases that are licensed for NSU use only; Datatel, and Banner.
The VPN option available is called AnyConnect VPN Client, which requires software installation but is easiest to use. This is the best solution if you are an adminstrator on your computer.
All users must agree to the NSU Acceptable Use Policy. If you would like to request use of the VPN, click on the Request Form, which you can complete and print for signatures.
