NSU is the right fit for students who are looking for a smaller school with many benefits and opportunities.
What sets NSU apart from other universities?
I feel NSU is different from other universities in many ways, but mostly because of the way our city supports our school. Aberdeen supports our students with opportunities for employment that offer tuition reimbursement plans. It also helps with our students’ success by offering chances for internships and permanent positions after graduation.
Why is everybody talking about NSU?
People are talking about NSU because of the positive influences our graduates are making. We also are gaining some time in conversations because of the new majors and sport programs offered, as well as new buildings being constructed to help with the education of our students.
How was your experience at Northern State University as a student?
As a student at NSU I felt early on that I was more than a number. My instructors were available to help if I found myself not fully understanding a subject. If I saw them outside of class, whether on or off campus, they took the time to talk with me and expressed interest in other aspects of my life. They also helped in career choices and were willing to be positive references when I was searching for my first job.
