Peter Kilian

Professor of Art, Art Department Coordinator

Originally from Sioux Falls, SD, Peter Kilian studied art at Augustana College (Sioux Falls) and earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in drawing & painting from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Professor Kilian teaches for the Northern State University art department where he holds the academic rank of Professor and serves as department coordinator. In addition to his academic work he has exhibited his artwork regionally and nationally over the last twenty years. He has also worked in the field of advertising, print and multimedia graphic design.

Mr. Kilian and his wife Tari reside in Aberdeen, SD.
