Mark Shekore

Mark Shekore began teaching at Northern State University in 1968. In addition to his responsibilities teaching studio courses in ceramics, photography, fiber arts, drawing and watercolor he served as an art department chairperson for 20 years. In 2005 Mark gave up his full time duties in order to have more opportunity to pursue his interests in making art and travel. He continues to teach ceramics courses in the fall semester at Northern. He also maintains a ceramics studio on campus as Artist in Resident and can be contacted to present workshops, tours, and lectures.
