Matt Walberg (Fr., Aberdeen, S.D.) was named NSIC Men's Indoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Year after a solid performance at the NSIC Championship in Bemijdi State on Feb. 25th and 26th.
Walberg finished first in the 800m with a 1:59.39, second in the mile with a time of 4:28.32, sixth in the 5000m with a 16:52.78 at the NSIC Championship.
