Liz Malatesta had five assists in the Wolves three games with three in their win over Si Tanka and two more as they defeated Mayville State 6-0. She was also selected as NSIC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts on Sept. 27th.

Malatesta is leading the nation in assists with ten on the year (games through 9-26-04) and has twice as many assists as any other player in the NSIC.

Malatesta has matched here season total of ten assists from a year ago and has moved into third place on the all time assist list at Northern State with her 20 career assists in two years. She is only six assists way from breaking the NSU all-time assist record currently held by Kersten Coulter (1999-02)
