Gena Meier (Sr., Plevna, Mont.), the defending NSIC champion in the weight throw, placed second in the Iowa State University open in the women’s weight throw with a personal best of 51’9 1/4”. NSIC athletes took three of the top four spots in the event led by Meier’s runner up effort.
