Jeremy VanVeen Finishes 19th at Mt. SAC Relays

Walnut, Calif. (Hilmer Lodge Stadium) - Jeremy VanVeen (So., Milbank, S.D.) finished 19th out of 28 racers in the 10,000M Run on Thursday, April 14th with a time of 31:11.53 at the MT SAC Relays. VanVeen finished about a minute and a half behind the race winner, Shadrack Songok (Texas A&M Corp Chr), as he won the race in a time of 29:42.53. VanVeen leads the NSIC by over a minute in the 10k and is also the conference leader in the 1,500 meters. The Mount San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) Relays are in their 48th year and are widely accepted as the best distance competition in the nation. Meet Results and More Info on Mt. SAC Release.

This marks the second time in his career that VanVeen has been named NSU Athlete of the Week.
