Johnny Bentley (RB, 5-9, 195, JR, Gardena, Calif. / West Los Angeles CC) scored on a seven yard touchdown on the Wolves first offensive play of the season on his way to a career day. For the day Bentley rushed nine times for 173 and four touchdowns for an average of 19.2 yards per carry. He also caught two passes for 89 yards and a touchdown after playing only in the first half.
Bentley later put himself in the Northern State record book as he motored 83 yards with 3:01 left in the first to put the Wolves up 48-0 at the half in the Wolves 60-13 win over Mayville State.
