Latu NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week - D2Football.com National Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Una Latu was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week. Latu, a 5-10, 190-pound junior from Honolulu, Hawaii, blocked two punts and returned one 13 yards for a touchdown, and returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown as well in a 64-13 victory over Minnesota-Crookston. Latu was also named D2football.com National Player of the Week honorable mention for his efforts.
The Wolves blocked three kicks in the game as the have now totaled eight blocks on the season. Chris McClellan was the other NSU player named special team’s player of the week back on October 3rd. Full NSIC Release
