The Wolves late rally came up short in game one as Jametown
College snuck past the Wolves 9-8. Game two had Jamestown take
advantage of four Wolves' errors in a 17-2 rout.
After scoring the first run of the game in the bottom of the
second inning the Wolves allowed nine runs in the next four
innings to put them down 8-1 after five and a half innings of
play. Jamestown dropped one run in the third, four in the fourth,
three in the fifth and one in the sixth.
The Wolves started a ralley in the bottom of the sixth inning
as they took advantage of six hits and two Jamestown errors
to score seven runs and make it a one run game with an inning
to go.
After holding Jamestown scoreless in the seven the Wolves looked
to start a rally as they had a runner on first with one out.
Unfortunately they hit into a 6-4-3 double play to end the game.
In game two the Wolves committed four errors and gave up 17
runs on 18 hits as they fell 17-2. They could only muster two
runs on four hits in the game.
