Wolves Pick Up Non-Conference

Morris, Minn. - The Wolves racked up 15 runs on 13 hits as they
picked up on non-conference win over Minnesota, Morris. The Wolves
took the lone game of the day 15-6. The Wolves improve to 10-17
overall on the season and stay 4-8 in the NSIC.
The Wolves opened up the game scoring
eleven runs in the first two innings. The Cougars stayed in the
game with five runs of their own in the first three innings before
the Wolves poured on three more runs in the top of the fourth
and an insurance run they didn't need in the top of the sixth
inning.
Wes Fisbeck led the Wolves as he went
4-5 on the day with three runs scored and two RBIs. He upped his
team leading batting average to .453 on the season with today's
performance. Valdie Magstadt went 3-4 on the day knocking in a
pair of runs and scoring once. Benji Kieffer also had a three
hit day as he went 3-5 with three runs scored.
The Wolves return to NSIC action this
weekend when they take on MN-Duluth on Saturday and Sunday.
