Morningside Defeats Northern State 9-1

JOPLIN, Mo.. - In the second game Northern State (1-3) played March 5th against Morningside College the Wolves got defeated 9-1. Morningside has defeated the Wolves 2-out-of-3 times so far at the tournament held in Joplin, Mo.

Mike Paulson (0-1) got the loss for the Wolves. Tyler Bauman pitched two innings giving up one run. Offensively Adam Kampsen went 1-for-2 with a walk.

The Wolves hurt themselves on the bases as they had nine base runners, but they had three outs on the bases. They also did not have their best fielding game as they had four fielding errors in the game.

The Wolves will play the University of Findlay in a 9 inning game on March 6th and then play Missouri Southern in a 7 inning game.
